Steak done to perfection. Cooked first then pan seared.

Steps
- Pre-heat oven to 275F
- (Optionally) Salt/pepper steaks to taste
- Bake steak in oven. The slow cooking process makes the meat tender.
- Cook to the correct core temperature as desired:
- Medium Rare 90-95 degrees (20-25 minutes)
- Medium 100-105 degrees (25-30 minutes)
- Cooking times may vary greatly depending on thickness of steak. 2" steaks can take up to 45 minutes. Watch their temperature as they cook.
- Heat oil in a skillet, iron works great, on medium-high heat.
- Quickly sear the steaks. Less than 2 minutes per side, again to taste.
Searing seals in the taste and makes the food safe. By searing after cooking you get a nice thin sear line and cooked perfectly to temperature.
